Arturo's lyrical, autobiographical drawings show a layered visual language derived from the different cultures he has encountered to the backdrop of his upbringing in the Caribbean. Desimone uses the medium of drawing as a poem after Babel.
Arturo's poems are featured in several online platforms such as the online British literary journal Berfrois.
