Kim Cruickshank a British artist working with ceramics and audio visual elements. Her current work evolves through archaeological process and archiving of the extant. "Often works are fragile, prone to change, destruction, creating contemporary artefacts for public presentation and discussion. Found materials lead me on journeys of discovery, re-creation, preservation and fetishization to explore narratives of absence, presence and remains."

Make a cast of your hand workshop was part of Kim's residency programme. The artist created a 3 day workshop showing to the participants how to make a copy of their own hand. Kim's idea was to experiment with different textures and materials and emphasise the uniqueness in people's hands.
