THE VILLA EXARCHIA RESIDENCY

Now in its 8th year, The Villa Exarchia Residency offers artists, academics and creatives from all walks of life with lodging, facilities and an exhibition. This urban residency focuses upon craft, theory and community engagement, offering unique possibilities for networking with other creative practitioners in the Athenian metropolis. The Villa Exarcheia Residency is located in the neighbourhood of Neapoli-Exarchia, just minutes by foot from the city center and the Acropolis and a plethora of museums, galleries and monuments.

We recognise that residents have different needs, so we provide three different types of residency packages :

  • The Full Residency which is designed for mature and career artists.

  • The Light Residency for emerging artists, academics and researchers.

  • The Locals Only accelerator residency which is designed for emerging young Greek and local artists.

  • A discount is for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) artists, academics and creatives.

Please refer to the application form for rates.
